Choose an output quality, compare the resulting size and download compressed copies while keeping originals unchanged.

What you can do

  • Compression re-encodes at the current pixel dimensions. Resize first if the image is much larger than its display area.
  • Lower JPG or WebP quality gradually and inspect fine text and gradients. A quality setting is not a target byte count, and the new file may be larger.

  2. Choose the original format or WebP and set compression quality.
  3. Compare the source and output sizes.
